As part of a broader campaign to promote a movement that will inspire learners to start thinking outside the box in terms of career aspirations, Whocanhelpmykid.com recently hosted a series of vodcast recordings with industry experts and disruptors to share their insights on the future of jobs in their sectors.

This campaign by Whocanhelpmykid.com is in partnership with #LearnOnOne (One Africa TV’s non-profit sub-brand).

The informative video series is presented by Christine Hugo from OnceUponMind. In it, she interviews selected guests who share their insights and perspective on which jobs will be in demand in the near future. The video series will be shared with learners at the upcoming Future Career Inspiration Sessions set to take place across the country. The videos will also be available for viewing via One Africa TV (during #LearnOnOne), on the  Whocanhelpmykid.com website as well as the learnonone.org website.

Guests tackled questions around the following themes:

  • The biggest challenge that jobseekers have to overcome and how it will change over the next decade
  • The biggest misconceptions about jobs and careers in various fields and how to acquire them
  • What skill and qualifications shortages exist in Namibia and how the youth can align their preparations for a career to close the gap

Catch the Future Careers vodcast series airing soon on #LearnOnOne, only on One Africa – available on DStv (channel 284) and GOtv (channel 90). #LearnOnOne airs daily from 06h00 to 12h30, with afternoon repeats from 13h30 to 17h30.
