Shape the Future of Namibian Children’s TV!
– Apply for the LearnOnOne & NUST Scholarship Giveaway
Ready to launch your career in children’s television? LearnOnOne, in partnership with NUST, is offering a full-time, three-week scriptwriting scholarship to NUST’s Accelerator Programme at the newly established Department of Digital Arts and Animation.
Why Children’s TV Matters
Children’s television is a powerful tool for education, inspiration, and cultural preservation. It shapes young minds, introduces them to new ideas, and fosters a sense of identity. In Namibia, we have a unique opportunity to create content that reflects our rich heritage, diverse cultures, and vibrant landscapes. However, a significant gap exists in the market for locally produced, high-quality children’s programming. We require passionate storytellers who can fill this void with engaging and culturally relevant content that speaks to the hearts and minds of Namibian children.
A Transformative Scholarship Opportunity
This scholarship represents an opportunity to convert your passion into a fulfilling profession. You will delve into the intricacies of scriptwriting for children’s television, from developing compelling characters and crafting engaging plots to understanding the unique psychological and developmental needs of young audiences.
