How are LearnOnOne viewers tracked? How does the tracking work? On TV, Radio and on the website.
TV: We track audience numbers through the latest Media Metrics research results. The 2022 statistics put OneAfrica viewer estimates at 100 000, with 202 518 Namibians estimated to have either a DStv or GOtv decoder.
Radio: LearnOnOne does not broadcast on radio.
Website: Through website analytics, available on the LearnOnOne platform profile.
How do we know how many learners are actually reached via: TV, Social media and the website?

Is there feedback from schools on LOO?
LearnOnOne obtains feedback from schools through our school engagement campaign.
Is it possible to do a case study to see if certain children's grades actually improve?
Through a partnership with Multichoice Namibia, LearnOnOne donated television sets with DStv subscriptions to two Windhoek schools as part of an impact-based pilot study. Each semester, LearnOnOne will receive feedback from the school on the effectiveness of the lessons watched by the learners after school.
How many viewers watch the lessons on the website and how long is an average session?
The learnonone.org website (launched in 2022) receives an average of over 500 visits per month. The longest session on the site is 00:38:00, which is the average duration of a lesson.
Do we give the lessons to schools / teachers to use?
The lessons broadcasted on LearnOnOne belong to the content producers. We advise anyone who wishes to source the videos to contact the relevant content provider directly.
How will the merger / partnership with Future Media affect LearnOnOne and its sponsors?
The TribeFire Studios x Future Media merger will amplify the LearnOnOne message. With access to marketing and interview opportunities on Future Media platforms, LearnOnOne can reach a bigger audience in its awareness campaigns.
Is LearnOnOne on GoTV light?
Yes! LearnOnOne is available through OneAfrica on ALL GOtv and DStv packages.
How long does a person generally spend on the website?
The average time spent on a LearnOnOne lesson was 00:38:48. This is the average length of video lessons on the platform.
From which regions are the lessons watched the most?
Unfortunately, there is no available research to show this.
Future plans for LOO? Focus for 2024?
One of our goals for 2024 is to engage more schools, learners and educators across the country. We want more learners across Namibia to use LearnOnOne as an extra tool to complement their school lessons.
LearnOnOne will also acquire brand-new content to further improve the viewing of our audience.
As part of our vision to empower the lives of Namibian learners, LearnOnOne will continue to partner with local organisations that uplift and inspire Namibian learners.

Where can I find info about Maths/Science etc?
Yes! LearnOnOne is available through OneAfrica on ALL GOtv and DStv packages.
Do you have any AS material?
Yes! LearnOnOne offers AS video lessons made possible by the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture.
How can I become a teacher on LearnOnOne?
Our content providers scout teachers directly. Please contact content providers directly or email us at info@learnonone.org for assistance.
How can my child be part of the LearnOnOne lessons?

Can you please send me your videos on whatsapp?
We unfortunately don’t send the video lessons via Whatsapp. Please watch the videos on OneAfrica (available on GoTv channel 24 and DStv channel 284). You can also catch the live streams on learnonone.org.
Where can I watch LearnOnOne and what times are the lessons?
LearnOnOne is broadcast every weekday on OneAfrica which is available on DStv (channel 284), GOtv Namibia (channel 24). Lessons are broadcast from 12h30 to 17h30, with livestreams on learnonone.org.
