A Legacy of Opportunity
Since its inception in 2009, the Namibia Careers Expo has evolved into one of the country’s most anticipated platforms for career development and youth empowerment. It brings together industry leaders, academic institutions, and organisations to showcase diverse career paths to learners, parents, and educators across Namibia.
The expo regularly features international exhibitors who broaden learners’ horizons with study and training opportunities from around the world, alongside Namibian exhibitors ranging from financial institutions to academic powerhouses such as UNAM and IUM, as well as vocational and technical entities like NTA WorldSkills Namibia.
Building on 2025’s Success
The 14th edition, held on 3 and 4 April 2025, set a remarkable precedent. Following a welcoming cocktail launch attended by the newly appointed Minister of Education, the event reinforced the critical importance of youth empowerment, practical exposure, and informed career decision-making.
By the Numbers

- 31 schools participated, including schools from outside Windhoek.
- Two days of intensive career exploration created direct learner exposure to study and work opportunities.
