Team LearnOnOne is still buzzing with excitement after partnering in the School Environmental Clubs Namibia Primary Schools launch. Organised by climate-conscious youth, the event marked an important step in nurturing environmental stewardship among younger learners.
Nearly 100 enthusiastic learners and key stakeholders in the environmental awareness space gathered at Dagbreek Resource School to celebrate the initiative. The launch represented a significant step in expanding environmental education and empowering the next generation to become eco-conscious leaders.
LearnOnOne’s Contribution
At the LearnOnOne stand, learners discovered or refreshed their knowledge of the platform and the engaging primary school content it offers. The team also challenged learners with a fun environmental awareness quiz.
Congratulations to 13-year-old Ireen Makobvu from Auas Primary School, who emerged as the winner and received a N$500 Waltons voucher.
A Vibrant Launch
The launch was filled with engaging activities and educational showcases, including performances by Wakapinya Environmental Education, practical recycling demonstrations by the Recycle Namibia Forum, and a climate-change mobile exhibition presented by the Museums Association of Namibia.
